From the BWCC Leisure Committee
The BWCC Leisure committee has been really encouraged by the number of new members we have recruited to the club in 2020, in what has been a pretty difficult year. In addition to the various Couch to 50k and 50 to 100k programs, we have been running mid-week training spins on Wed evenings which have now finished due to fading light.
As many members are now working from home with more flexibility around working hours and possibly reduced hours, some members may like to join into the unofficial weekday meet-ups that are happening during midweek mornings and it would be great to let them know what options may exist.
We would encourage you to post on the Bray Wheelers forum, BW Facebook pages, or on coloured spins What's App groups if you are heading out mid-week along with your planned route, distance, and pace to encourage new members to join up with available cyclists for a spin and coffee if suitable for them.
As with all spins, the usual Covid-19 protocols apply, so please log on to the Cycling Ireland Website, and register any spins with other people.
With many thanks
Best regards
