Hi everyone! This year we are adding a hillclimb championships to our clubrace calendar. it will take place up Slaughter Hill behind Newtownmountkennedy on 11/08/2011, sign-on from 6.45pm and race start 7.15pm. Parking will be on the road by Newtown industrial est. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall and to 1st, 2nd and 3rd lady and 1st unplaced Vet. Our *PRIZE PRESENTATION* will take place after the hillclimb in the club house and with participant numbers at an all time high this year we expect a big turnout back at the clubhouse. It's a social evening and is for everyone, not just prize winners, and with a free raffle on the night everyone's a winner. Tea, coffee, cakes etc will be served, so please come along!
On Thursday 23/06/2011 the club TT championships will take place over a 10 mile circuit. Sign-on will be at The Grove Pub at Kilpeddar at 7pm. Race will start on N11 at Burkes car sales at 7.30pm and will follow N11 to Coynes Cross exit, down to roundabout, right and under motorway the right at next roundabout, back on N11 northbound and finish opposite to where started. After the finish please continue back to Grove Pub and keep N11 clear.
If you have a race number please bring it along otherwise you will get one at the start. NUMBERS must be worn for TT, no number no time!
Associate members may ride TT Championships but won't qualify for medals.
Anyone not interested in riding the TT is very welcome to help instead. Please let Gillian or Barry know if you're available to help.
Parking for club and interclub races has changed. As from this week 16/06/2011 we will be parking in the carpark at the old filling station at the top of the longhill. Turn left at the top of the hill and the entrance is about 20m on the left. Please do not block the entrance and any overflow cars can park at the rear of the Sugarloaf, please do NOT park on the road along the back of the Sugarloaf, the road is too narrow. Finally there is space for 3 cars just outside the carpark at the top of the hill which we will need left clear for race organisers so we can get to the finish. Lets try and make this facility work as it could take away a lot of headaches for parking.

Note that this Thursday 2nd June, the Harry Dawson League route has had to be changed. Start and finish on filterbeds, 3 laps of championship circuit. Please park on lefthand side of road beyond finish straight only

It has been decided by the commettiee that riders that did not make the original marshal list will need to marhsall inter club events a list of these riders can be downloaded here here
Results from second race are here Well done to Jennifer Duffy who won from Siobhan Duggan and David Hennessy on a wet and windy night. 3rd race Thursday the 12th of May, Calary 7.30pm . A full list of marhals dates are available here. If you can't make your marhsal date it's up to you to find a replacement
