There was road racing in Balbriggan on Saturday and Sunday of this week with the Harry Reynolds memorial on Saturday. Several of Bray’s race team travelled to the event and gave a good account of themselves. Racing continued in Balbriggan on Sunday with the Ben McKenna Memorial race with several more riders attending.
The IVCA veterans racing made a welcome return on Sunday morning. There was a huge turnout of Bray riders for this first IVCA event of the season, with most of the regulars returning and some new faces to the ranks also. Paul Fahy turned out for Bray riding his first competitive race in years and rode well on the day.
Beginner spins are continuing with a good turnout for most spins, doing an average distance of 50 – 60 km.
The next youth spin is on Sunday April 6th at 2pm in Corkagh Park. New members are especially welcome and full details are on the website.
